List of Ingredients:
3 c. regular or bread flour
1 pkg. active dry yeast
1 T. dry powdered milk
2/3 c. cottage cheese
1/2 c. water
2 T. butter or margarine
1 T. sugar
1 t. salt
1 T. dillseed (fresh or dried)
1 egg

Directions: Combine 1 c. flour and 1 pkg. dry yeast in a large mixing bowl. In a smaller bowl heat and stir cottage cheese, sugar, powdered milk, water, dillseed, margarine and salt till warm **(120 - 130 degrees) and margarine almost melts. Add to flour mixture along with the egg. Beat on low speed 30 seconds, scraping bowl constantly. Beat on high speed 3 minutes.
Using a spoon, stir in remaining flour, starting with one cup and gradually adding flour as needed to form a moderately stiff batter. Spoon into a well greased loaf pan. Cover, let rise in a warm place till nearly doubled (50 to 60 minutes).
Bake at 375 oven for 25 to 30 minutes or till golden brown. Remove from pan. Serve warm or cool

Hints, Tips and Variations:
**Do not get it too hot or it will kill your yeast and cook the egg.
You can use quick-rising active dry yeast following the same directions. The dough should rise in about a third less time.
Bread will cut better if you let it cool a few minutes before slicing, but it's so hard to wait.

Good Cooks Tell All: You can add 1 t. dried minced onion to this recipe if you like. I liked it just as well without it.
